Sociologists are left-leaning because they tend to analyse through the social structure (intersectionality, systematic inequality etc.) while the right-leaning scholars tend to emphasise on the agency (individualistic values). Sociologists tend to be left-leaning due to the way they think and how the discipline is developed.
